Les Hoey MBE DreamMaker Foundation now have more reasons than ever before to get walking, thanks to an announcement from Sir Tom Hunter.
Sir Tom has pledged that 110% of all fundraising at each of the four 2017 Royal Bank of Scotland Kiltwalk events will go to charity.
He made the announcement at the Kiltwalk’s inaugural “Platform” event, a day for charities to get together, network and learn more about best practice in areas such as marketing and fundraising.
Sir Tom; “Last year, every penny, every pound raised went to the walkers’ chosen charities. But this year we promise to do even more – for every £100 you raise The Hunter Foundation will add £10 with no limit.
The Kiltwalk will return to Glasgow on April 30, Aberdeen on June 4 and Edinburgh on September 17, with a new event – St Andrews to Dundee on August 20.
