Les Hoey MBE
Les is married with 3 children and 3 grandchildren. He has a full time job with Network Rail In Motherwell and every spare minute he has he gives to his Charity.
Les's commitment to his charity work started 23 years ago when his young daughter Shelley was diagnosed with Leukemia. She spent months in Yorkhill Hospital in Glasgow and wanted to meet the pop group Boyzone. Les contacted their management who were kind enough to invite Shelley and her friends to meet the band when they played in Glasgow.
When Les saw the difference this made to Shelley he decided then and there he would like to give other Children with Life Threatening Illnesses the same happiness and so it all began.
In July 2013 Les was honoured to meet The Queen and recieved his MBE for his services to Charity.
Since then, Les has raised over £2 million for other fantastic causes. In 2014 Les and his team of volunteers decided to become an official charity and in September Les Hoey MBE DreamMaker Foundation became a reality.

Helping with fundraising and events. Angela is passionate about making the childrens Dreams come true as well as raising the funds needed to make this happen.
Pauline has been a Director of her own Company since 1997 and a volunteer with a worldwide kids wish granting charity since 2010. She felt very honoured when she was asked by Les Hoey MBE to become a Trustee of DreamMaker Foundation and bring along her business & volunteering experience and enthusiasm. Pauline is married with 2 sons, 1 of whom attends Yorkhill and owes his life to the amazing staff who work there.
Michelle works in Education and has volunteered with Les Hoey MBE since getting to know him when her own young son Taylor was diagnosed with cancer. Michelle as a parent of a child with cancer, knows first hand how important the work of the Foundation is in making the children smile, while they are going through these horrendous treatments, which can continue for a number of years.
Laura has joined the DreamMaker team this year as administration support on a part time basis. She has a background in this field and is a whizz on the computer. Although Laura has not worked in the charity sector before her enthusiasm and commitment more than makes up for this. Laura has a four year old son who she adores.
